6th meeting of the Belarusian-Hungarian Intergovernmental Commission for Economic Cooperation

On September 17-18, 2015, the 6th Belarusian-Hungarian  Intergovernmental Commission for Economic Cooperation took place in Budapest.

Belarusian delegation was headed by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Ms. Alena Kupchyna, Hungarian side was led by the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary Dr. László Szabó.

Belarusian delegation consisted of the Director of the National Investment Agency, management of the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange, representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus.

During the meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission sides have discussed in depth bilateral economic relations, existing and future common trade and investment projects.

As a result of the meeting the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange and Hungarian National Trading House have signed a Cooperation Agreement.

On the eve of the meeting businessmen from two countries who are interested in establishment and intensification of cooperation have taken part in the Belarusian-Hungarian business forum in the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
