Embassy attends Diplomatic Charity Fair

The Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in Hungary took part in the 4th Diplomatic Charity Christmas Fair in Budapest, organised by Diplomatic Spouses of Budapest.

The event brought together more than 50 diplomatic missions. The fair featured y the country stands, national cuisine presentations and performances of art groups. The Belarusian stand drew much attention of the participants and guests of the fair. Proceeds raised from the sales will be spent on a number of charity programs which the Diplomatic Spouses of Budapest Association supervises.

The fair was held under the patronage of Anita Herczegh, spouse of the President of Hungary. In her address to the participants and visitors of the fair Anita Herczegh thanked the organizers. She noted the uniqueness of the project, which gives an opportunity to see the cultural diversity and traditions of different countries, and to raise funds for those in need just in one day.
