On a meeting of Ambassador of Belarus in Hungary Mr.Aliaksandr Khainouski with Mr.Péter Szijjártó, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary

On July 31, 2014 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus Mr.Aliaksandr Khainouski met with Mr.Péter Szijjártó, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, Co-Chairman of the Belarusian-Hungarian Intergovernmental Commission for Economic Cooperation (hereinafter – Commission).

During the meeting the issues of trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and Hungary were discussed in details, including the preparation of the fifth sitting of the Commission and follow-up business forum in Minsk planned for this autumn.

The Sides agreed on a necessity to promote bilateral cooperation in investment field, including the finalizing of the Draft Agreement for the Promotion and Reciprocal Protection of Investments between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and Government of Hungary. In this regard, they have considered the state of affairs in this field and targeted further interaction on current and perspective directions and projects.
