On awarding Ambassador Aliaksandr Khainouski by the Order of Merit of Hungary

On 31 July 2018 Deputy State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary Zsolt Csutora presented Commander's Cross of the Order of Merit of Hungary to Ambassador Aliaksandr Khainouski. The Hungarian President awarded H.E. Mr. Aliaksandr Khainouski in recognition of his significant contribution to the development and enhancement of bilateral cooperation, as well as promotion of political, economic and cultural relations between Belarus and Hungary.

 

The Order of Merit of Hungary was established in June 1922 as the highest award of the country. The Order is presented for significant contribution to the development of Hungary’s relations with other countries, and for the support for Hungarian culture, science and art.

During the solemn ceremony Zsolt Csutora underlined the positive development of Belarusian-Hungarian cooperation, spoke about the intensification of political, economic and humanitarian interaction.

Deputy State Secretary emphasized that the state award is both confirmation of the high level of cooperation between the two countries, and recognition of personal contribution of the Ambassador to the development and enhancement of bilateral relations.

Zsolt Csutora expressed sincere gratitude to the Ambassador Khainouski for his dedicated work to the benefit of the development of Belarusian-Hungarian relations.
