Ambassador of Belarus U.Ulakhovich presents credentials to the President of the Republic of Hungary

On June 16, 2022 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus in Hungary Uladzimir Ulakhovich presented his credentials to the President of the Republic of Hungary Katalin Novák.

A confidential conversation between the Ambassador and the President of the Republic of Hungary Katalin Novák took place in the Presidential Palace. The parties stated their interest in developing mutually beneficial cooperation in all areas, with particular emphasis on further strengthening trade and economic ties. At the end of the conversation with the President U.Ulakhovich signed the Guests Book.

In the framework of the official ceremony, Uladzimir Ulakhovich accompanied by the Hungarian guard of honour laid a wreath to the monument on the central square of Budapest – Heroes’ Square.

Ambassador Ulakhovich has become the first Ambassador to present his credentials to the new Hungarian President, Katalin Novák, who took her office in May 2022.
