Ambassador U.Ulakhovich's meeting with the Rector of Semmelweis University

On November 10, 2022 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Hungary Uladzimir Ulakhovich met with the Rector of Semmelweis University Dr. Béla Merkely.

Current issues and prospects for bilateral cooperation in the field of scientific research were discussed with the head of the leading medical university and a significant research centre in Hungary. Specific proposals for cooperation with the Republican Research Centre for Radiation Medicine and Human Ecology were considered.

During the meeting, a special attention was paid to the issues of higher education, thematic materials from the interested Belarusian partners were handed over to the Hungarian side.

The interlocutors noted a special importance of the medical sphere in the scientific, humanitarian and economic dimensions of the Belarusian-Hungarian relations and agreed to help foster the dialogue in this field.
