Ambassador of Belarus A.Ponomarev pays a working visit to Debrecen

On 6-7 July 2021, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Hungary Aleksandr Ponomarev paid a working visit to Debrecen, Hungary.

As part of the visit, the Ambassador met with the Mayor of the city Dr. László Papp. The parties discussed possibilities for developing bilateral regional cooperation with Mogilev, including in the context of stepping up business and cultural relations.

During the meeting with the head of the regional branch of the chamber of commerce and industry of the county Ferenc Miklóssy, priority areas of trade and economic cooperation with Belarusian partners were identified, and a plan for bilateral online events for the near future was outlined.

As part of the visit, A.Ponomarev visited the branch office of Royal Traktor, which is the largest dealer of Belarus-branded tractors in Hungary. In the company's office A.Ponomarev took part in an online meeting between the Royal Traktor management and the representatives of Gomselmash to discuss the prospects of promoting Belarusian harvesters in the Hungarian market.

Negotiations were held with the management of Eurings, a subsidiary of Massucco Industrie, which specializes in the production of bearings. Agreement wфы reached to expand cooperation with Belarusian partners, both in terms of supplies of metallurgical products to the company and in terms of prospects of establishing production cooperation with Belarusian bearing manufacturers.
