In 1985 graduated from the Belarusian State University.

1986–1990 – work in various structures of the Komsomol of Belarus

1991–1997 – administrative assistant, senior administrative assistant, leading specialist of the Secretariat of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Belarus, assistant to the Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Belarus

1997–2000 – Deputy Director General of Interfax News Agency

2000–2011 – Director of the Center for International Studies at the Belarusian State University

2011–2016 – Deputy Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry

2016–2022 – Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry

Since March 2022 – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus in Hungary

Author of several books and a number of articles on international relations and foreign policy.

Chairman of the Belarus-Italy Friendship Society. In 2015, he was awarded the Order of the Star of the Italian Republic.

Speaks English, Italian and French.

Married. Has a daughter.
