Ambassador of Belarus U.Ulakhovich’ visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina

On August 28-30, 2023 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Hungary and Bosnia and Herzegovina Uladzimir Ulakhovich is paying a working visit to Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

During the visit, Ambassador Ulakhovich was received by Željka CVIJANOVIĆ, member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The parties discussed a wide range of issues of interaction between Belarus and Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the development of the regional and international situation. 

The Ambassador also met with the President of the Republic of Srpska of Bosnia and Herzegovina Milorad Dodik and Chairman of the Regional Chamber of Commerce of Banja Luka Pero Ćorić. During the talks, emphasis was placed on the development of interregional cooperation, including in the trade and economic sphere, between the Republic of Srpska and the regions of Belarus.

The Ambassador also met with the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Belarus in Bosnia and Herzegovina Nedeljko Elek. Prospects for the development of bilateral interaction were discussed, including the identification of specific areas and emphasis on the need to intensify bilateral trade.
