Meeting of Ambassadors

On 29 March 2024, the Embassy of Belarus in Hungary hosted a round table dedicated to the celebration of the 105th anniversary of the Belarusian diplomatic service.
Ambassador of Belarus in Hungary H.E. Mr. Uladzimir Ulakhovich made a video presentation about Belarusian diplomacy, which step-by-step reviewed the periods of its formation, showed rare archive materials, highlighted significant events of our country and the role of Belarusian diplomats in its history.

The round table was attended by Ambassador of Azerbaijan in Hungary H.E. Mr. Tahir Taghi-Zadeh, Ambassador of Hungary in Russia (2008-2010) H.E. Mr. György Gilian, Ambassador of Kazakhstan in Hungary H.E. Mr. Zhanibek Abdrashov, Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan in Hungary H.E. Mr. Talantbek Kushchubekov, Ambassador of Russia in Hungary H.E. Mr. Evgeny Stanislavov, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Hungary H.E. Mr. Oybek Shakhavdinov and Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of Serbia in Hungary Mr. Aleksandar Lončarević.
In a warm and friendly atmosphere, the participants recalled the unifying stories of our history, discussed the dynamics of cooperation between the represented states at the present stage, and, realising the importance of the development of this interaction, outlined joint plans for the future.
