On consultations between MFA of Belarus and MFA of Hungary on consular issues

On January 27, 2016, in Budapest (Hungary) took place consultations between MFA of Belarus and MFA of Hungary on consular issues.

Belarus’ delegation was headed by Head of Consular Department of the MFA of Belarus Mr. Igor Fisenko, Hungarian – by Head of Consular and Citizenship Department of the MFA of Hungary Ms. Zita Bencsik.

During consultations the parties discussed Belarus’ and Hungary’s visa policy issues in a context of negotiations on visa facilitation regime between Belarus and EU, migration situation in the region and related risks, defense of citizens and legal entities of both countries, cooperation in legal assistance issues.

Belarusian delegation also had a meeting with Deputy Director General of the Office of Immigration and Nationality of Hungary Mr. Attila Kiss to exchange experience on illegal migration counteraction.
