On the information event at the Embassy of Belarus in Hungary

On September 19, 2023 the information event was held at the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in Hungary, dedicated to Day of National Unity.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Hungary Uladzimir Ulakhovich and the guests of the event exchanged views on topical issues of the domestic and international agenda, discussed the importance of historical memory in the development and establishment of statehood and preservation of sovereignty and independence.

The event also included a screening and discussion of the national film “On the Other Shore” made by the Belarusfilm studio. The film tells about life in Western Belarus, annexed to Poland in 1925 under the Riga Peace Treaty.
