Ambassador visits the Győr-Moson-Sopron Region

On March 28, 2023 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus in Hungary Uladzimir Ulakhovich paid a working visit to Győr, where he met with the President of the Local Government of the Győr-Moson-Sopron region Zoltán Németh and with the Vice-Chairman of the regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry István Szekeres with participation of the Belarusian and Hungarian business circles.

A joint press conference was held with the head of the region, during which the Ambassador spoke about the possibilities and priorities for the development of bilateral interregional cooperation, answered questions from local media representatives.

During the meetings, the parties exchanged substantive information on the potential and framework conditions for interaction with an emphasis on the trade and economic sphere. They also confirmed their readiness to continuously develop a constructive dialogue in a wide range of areas, including industry, construction, education, science, culture, tourism, as well as to encourage business contacts and mutual participation in business events.
