Ambassador of Belarus A.Ponomarev pays a working visit to Lakitelek

On November 23, 2021, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Hungary Aleksandr Ponomarev paid a working visit to Lakitelek, Hungary, at the invitation of Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Hungary, Chairman of the Hungarian-Belarusian Parliamentary Friendship Group Sándor Lezsák.

The visit included a tour of the Hungarikum Liget facilities and an extensive conversation between the Ambassador and the Deputy Speaker of the Hungarian Parliament, covering geopolitics, analysis of the status and prospects of the dialogue between Belarus and the European Union and Hungary.

The parties discussed plans to develop new areas of Belarusian-Hungarian cooperation, including in trade and economic spheres, in education and culture, and agreed plans to organize a cultural program at the Hungarikum Liget for Belarusians studying in Hungary.
