On the Visit of Ambassador Uladzimir Ulakhovich to Kecskemét

On January 30, 2026, at the invitation of the Hungarian side, Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus H.E. Uladzimir Ulakhovich visited Kecskemét. 

During the visit, H.E. Uladzimir Ulakhovich met with Mr. Tamás Fülöp, Rector of the John von Neumann University. Uladzimir Ulakhovich outlined the main areas of cooperation with Hungary in the field of education. The university management expressed interest in establishing direct contacts with Belarusian universities.

As part of the visit, H.E. Uladzimir Ulakhovich also met with the Mayor of Kecskemét Ms. Klaudia Szemereyné Pataki and Mr. József Gaál, Head of the Bács-Kiskun County Chamber of Commerce and Industry. During a brief conversation, the parties discussed existing cooperation mechanisms and agreed to maintain working contacts.
