On Participation in the Ceremony of Reburial of the Remains of Soviet Soldiers in Budapest

On October 2, 2025, Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to Hungary H.E. Uladzimir Ulakhovich took part in a solemn reburial ceremony of the remains of thirteen Soviet soldiers at the Kerepesi Memorial Cemetery in Budapest.

Ambassador H.E. Uladzimir Ulakhovich, together with colleagues from the Embassy of the Russian Federation, the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic, Military History Institute and Museum of the Ministry of Defense of Hungary, Hungarian anti-fascist organizations, the Hungarian-Russian Society for Culture and Friendship, as well as the Hungarian Workers’ Party, laid wreaths at the monument to Soviet soldiers and honored the memory of the fallen heroes with a moment of silence.

The funeral service for the deceased was conducted by Archpriest Ioann Kadar of the Church of St. Sergius of Radonezh in Budapest.
