Ambassador of Belarus U.Ulakhovich visits Bosnia and Herzegovina

On  June 20-22, 2022 the  Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Hungary and Bosnia and Herzegovina Uladzimir Ulakhovich visited Bosnia and Herzegovina with a view to presenting the Letter of Credence to the Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Šefik Džaferović.

During the visit, the Ambassador met with the Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Milorad Dodik, and the Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations Staša Košarac, held meetings at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Belarusian delegation negotiated with the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Belarus in Pale Nedeljko Elek and the management of the Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina, representatives of the business community and the diplomatic corps accredited in Sarajevo.

During the confidential talks a wide range of issues on the regional agenda and bilateral cooperation in various spheres were discussed. The sides agreed to strengthen the contacts between the governmental bodies and business circles of the two countries, to develop the legal-contractual and trade-economic cooperation, participation at the international exhibitions and business events.

On June 22, 2022 Ambassador Ulakhovich took part in the Conference “Cooperation of institutions, public and private sector and NGOs” in Pale, where he held a number of meetings with the participants of the event.
