17.11.2025

On November 16, 2025, the Bálna Exhibition Centre in Budapest hosted the 14th annual diplomatic charity fair organized by the Diplomatic Spouses of Budapest under the patronage of the Spouse of the President of Hungary Mrs. Zsuzsanna Nagy.

Around 30 diplomatic missions accredited in Hungary participated in the event, including the Embassies of Belarus, Kazakhstan, Poland, Croatia, Cyprus, China, Vietnam, Thailand, India, Indonesia, Egypt, Iran, Oman, Morocco, Mexico, Argentina, Mongolia, Pakistan, Turkey, Japan, Nigeria and other countries.

The Embassy of Belarus presented a stand featuring products from eight national manufacturers: Savushkin Product JSC, Santa Bremor LLC, Beresteyskiy Pekar OJSC, Belalco JSC, Pridvinye JSC, Lidskoe Pivo JSC, Minsk Sparkling Wine Factory OJSC and Krasny Pischevik OJSC. Guests were offered a wide selection of renowned Belarusian brands, including dairy, fish, confectionery, bakery products, as well as alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

Belarusian products were in high demand among participants and visitors, and the stand attracted a record number of guests. All products were sold out quickly, and visitors continued to arrive in the hope of purchasing Belarusian goods. The Embassy’s participation received the highest praise from the organizers, visitors, and distinguished guests.

The event once again demonstrated that Belarusian products are a mark of quality. The Hungarian public, as well as representatives of the diplomatic and business communities and the media, showed high interest in the fair, particularly in the Belarusian stand. Belarusian enterprises received an additional boost in promoting their products. Hungarian consumers consistently confirm the high demand for Belarusian goods and look forward to the moment when Belarusian products can enter the Hungarian market without barriers and be represented in Hungary’s retail chains.

All proceeds were donated by the organizers to charitable causes, namely to the following foundations: Egymásért Gemma Sportegyesület – Szeged (support for children and young people with special needs), Dévai Szent Ferenc Alapítvány (social protection for children in need), and Szolnoki Kézműves Körért és a Tisza-mente Népművészetéért Alapítvány (preservation of regional cultural heritage and folk art).
