The meeting of the Belarusian-Hungarian working group on construction

On 31 March 2023, the first meeting of the Belarusian-Hungarian working group on cooperation in architecture, urban planning and construction took place in Budapest with participation of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus in Hungary Uladzimir Ulakhovich.

The Belarusian delegation was led by the Chairman of the Republican Union of Contractors Anatoly Nichkasov and the Hungarian delegation was headed by the Chairman of the National Federation of Building Contractors ÉVOSZ László Koji.

The event was attended by representatives of specialized organizations and enterprises of both countries, which had a detailed discussion of a number of issues and promising areas of cooperation in the construction sector, confirmed their interest in further joint work and agreed on the development of mutually beneficial projects.

The Embassy of Belarus in Hungary organised a separate business meeting for the members of the working group on the current development of the Hungarian construction market and the opportunities of bilateral cooperation in this area.

Moreover, during the visit the Belarusian delegation visited events and exposition of the international construction exhibition CONSTRUMA 2023 in Budapest and held a number of negotiations with the Hungarian partners.
